Beckham in Bali

English Soccer megastar David Beckham, accompanied by his wife Victoria and their three children, reportedly recently spent their holiday in Central Java and Bali.

Fresh from a Spanish League victory playing for Real Madrid and en-route to their new home in the Los Angeles where he will play for LA Galaxy, Beckham reportedly arrived by private jet in Yogyakarta on June 19th for a stay at the ultra-luxurious Amanjiwo resort near Borobudur Temple.

Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park has 60 rhinos

The Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park (TNBBS) is estimated to have accommodated between 60 and 80 two-horn Sumatran rhinoceroses (Dicerorhinus sumatrensis).

The figure was obtained based on a survey of rhino census in 2005, Program Manager of Indonesian Rhino Conservation Program M Waladi Isnan said here on Thursday.

The new marketing image of Bali will reportedly include the phrase “Bali Shanti Shanti Shanti” presented against a tri-colored background of red, white and black reflecting sacred colours of the Bali Hindu religion.

Bali Update said “Bali Shanti Shanti Shanti” translates into “Bali Peace Peace Peace” and was selected by a team of branding experts after six months of interviews with a wide cross-section of the local community “and reflects the wishes of the people of Bali for both their home island and the rest of the world”.
